I am a chitpavan from pune currently residing in Bangalore. Really would like to understand all the words that you have collected of chitpavani language that is used in north karnataka.
I am also collecting information about chitpavani language in konkan area. The language was used upto 1950's then everyone switched to marathi. I would like to send a old document about chitpavani language study made by british.
Also I would like to translate the chitpavani words you have given in kannada script to Devnagari script. Can you help in this regards. I have already started learning kannada script for this, but it willtake me time.

Also... Like my name suggest, my surname is Gore. And My dad and I are involved in creation of Gore Surname Kulavrutant(family tree). So if you know of any Gore surname chitpavans (like i see name Ravikanth Gore on your blog) kindly ask them to email me at abhijitg@gmail.com. My dad or I will then get in touch with them.
